Putin Insists He Was At Girlfriend’s Place During Attack On MH17
MOSCOW, (The Global Edition) – A last-minute possible alibi may spare Russian President and main suspect in Malaysia MH17 crash, Vladimir Putin, from charges that the downing of Malaysian airplane flying over Russian-Ukranian border is his doing. Mr. Putin now claims he was with his girlfriend at the time of the alleged offence.
Vladimir Putin’s alibi allegedly proves that he was nowhere near the place where the missile that downed the airplane was fired from. According to the statement Putin gave during hearing in Moscow’s Police Precinct 12, at the time of the crash that killed 298 people, he was in the apartment of his girlfriend, former rhythmic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, “just hanging out”.
“My girl Alina can witness to the fact that I came to her place on that 17th of July around noon to chill and watch TV. Since there was nothing good on TV, we binge watched second season of “House of Cards” on Netflix. Great show, I highly recommend it, by the way,” said Russian President.
Juridical experts agree that the alibi presented by Putin and confirmed by Ms. Kabaeva is strong enough for him to be released of any charges in MH17 case.
“This is a game changer. Until now there was no doubt that Putin is directly responsible for the shooting of the passenger airplane, however, now it is perfectly clear that he was at his girl’s place, and nowhere near Hrabrova in Donetsk region where the missile was fired from,” says legal expert John Kowinski of “Kowinski and partners” law firm.
According to the last unofficial findings, main suspect for MH17 shooting is now the Ukranian president Petro Poroshenko, who claims to have been at the “Diysno Dobre Pyvo” in Odessa, but the bartender doesn’t remember him being there.
